This Privacy Policy explains how the Slovca word game ("the App"), published by Nimbic, handles information.
Slovca does not require you to create an account or sign in, and does not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information to play.
Games in progress, statistics, streaks, the daily calendar and settings are stored locally on your device only. They are not sent to any server run by Nimbic. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data deletes them.
You can mark a word the game did not accept, or an answer that seems wrong. These reports are kept on your device. They are only sent if you choose to send them from Settings, through your phone's share menu, to the recipient and app you pick.
If you sign in to Google Play Games, the App submits your achievements and leaderboard scores (such as your longest daily streak) to Google Play Games Services, and they are shown under your Play Games profile. This is handled by Google under its own Privacy Policy. You can play without signing in.
To fix or add words without an app update, the App downloads a small word-list file from this website (hosted on GitHub Pages) every few hours. The request sends no information about you or your games; like any web request, it reveals your device's IP address to the host, GitHub, under GitHub's privacy statement.
If you allow notifications, the App reminds you when a new daily word is available and when your streak is about to end. These reminders are scheduled on your device; no data is sent to do this. You can turn them off in the App's settings or in your phone's settings at any time.
The App uses network access to show ads and to download word-list updates, and asks for permission to show notifications. It does not request access to your location, camera, contacts, microphone or files.
The App offers optional rewarded video ads, served by Google AdMob, for example to get a hint or to play a missed day. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect device identifiers and other technical data as described in Google's own policies. Where required by law (for users in the European Economic Area and the UK), the App asks for your consent before any personalized advertising is shown, through an in-app consent prompt, and you can change your choice later from the App's settings.

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
This policy may be updated as the App changes. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
